A Short Poem

Crazy I am.
Miss you I do.
Clock ticking counter.
Grandma’s rocking chair
swaying out of synch.
Why did I let you go?
Oxygen scarce.
Gas bomb exploded,
Slowly suffocating me.

This is just my first night without Fil and I’m already going crazy.
Two more to go. Can’t wait for Saturday to arrive.
